Tasty Breakfast in the center of Old Town Scottsdale just minutes away from your Arcadia home. Just as their website describes, The Herb Box is a stylish restaurant serving an innovative, eclectic menu & cocktails in a modern country setting.
One of the nice things about this restaurant is that when other restaurants are usually packed on a Saturday or Sunday Morning, this restaurant, with a very attractive decor, will have available tables. While I admit, they don't have the friendliest staff in Scottsdale, but the food and setting are very nice.
Serving Healthy Cuisine to Arizona Since 1995
The Herb Box opened as a catering company in 1995. The original goal was to prepare delicious nutritious whole foods. The founder and owner, Susan Wilcox, continued this pursuit for 12 years, catering high-end events in Paradise Valley and North Scottsdale, near your Arcadia home. Loyal clients, though, wanted the high-quality cuisine outside of catering events.
The first-to-go location opened in North Scottsdale. Now, 20 years later, The Herb Box has three locations: a restaurant at 20707 N. Pima Road in DC Ranch, 5538 N. 7th Street in Midtown Phoenix, and a market and restaurant at 7134 E. Stetson Drive in Old Town.
Supporting Local Food Sources
The Herb Box also supports local growers and suppliers' using cage-free eggs and farmers' cheese. Hormone-free, natural meats and nitrate-free bacon along with local, organic produce are used when possible. You'll find unusual items on the menu such as harvest herb and vegetable risotto, butternut squash and corn enchiladas, and crisp brussels sprouts chips.
